Worth the price, but not what expected/needed

This arrived fairly quickly, particularly considering it apparently was manufactured when ordered (there is a date tag on the item). It is heavy. ,

This mattress was a good value for the price, but I really expected the foam portion of the construction to lend a bit more form and semi-rigidity to the mattress. (ever try to fold down foam? it springs back). Was expecting a 6" mattress, and in reality this is closer to 4". (yes even after allowing expansion from unpacking). ,

the mattress is heavy, and slides down the frame with each use. You have to tug back into position every time you get up. Had hoped to avoid that with a 6" mattress which included foam. ,

However: it is comfortable, it is fashionable, and it does look nice in the room where it sits. The microsuede finish gives it a bit of a decor update not available in most futon mattresses, and is a welcomed appearance in the room used. ,

Again, overall it is a good value for the money, particularly with the free shipping, and both feels and looks nice, but you need to still expect a heavy futon mattress which slouches down the frame and due to weight, is not a lofty 6" in appearance.

Very nice product, except that i was misleaded and thought the whole futon was for sale, not just the mattress. The queen size is very big, three adults can sit comfortably #recommended
