We have had this futon for almost 2 years and it has been great. The mattress is surprisingly comfortable for a futon. It looks great and is holding up well. It is not easy but doable for 1 person to lower and raise (raising is much more difficult alone) I can recommend.
Difficult and time-consuming to assemble, however the sofa is very comfortable to sit and sleep on. Mine is an asset in my Bonus room- Highly recommended

Love this futon. 4 stars instead of 5 because its really difficult to switch between sofa and bed setting. Once you get past the assembly which I found to be very tedious, it comes together quite nicely. As comfortable as one could expect from a futon. It looks great as a sofa and as a bed.

This futon set with suede mattress was purchased for use in our basement / storm shelter. It's only used occasionally but I can see this could be used daily in anyone else's home. It's sturdy enough to hold my two kids and withstand their jumping. I recommend this.
The blue futon was the perfect color for my room. The futon is a little difficult to maneuver from upright to sleep positions. And the mattress is very stiff and where there would normally be buttons are plastic pieces that are uncomfortable to lay on.

This is an authentic wood frame with detailed instructions for assemblage. The futon is quite full and blends well with our home decor. This will get plenty of use especially when we entertain guests.
The mattress isn't super comfortable but I'm not sure that any futon mattress is. Fairly easy to put together. Takes two people to easily convert to bed and back to couch.
