Perfect futon mattress to replace an old mattress that had seen better days. Love how thick and comfy it is. This futon mattress will be used daily as a sofa and occasionally as a bed for guests. Hoping it lasts for a few years but time will tell.
This item was uncomfortable and did not fit so I attempted to return it. The issue is that the item is shrink wrapped and once it is unwrapped will not fit in standard boxes. UPS will not ship it without a box and Overstock is refusing to pick it up or find a box that will fit it. I'm out $ and overstock refused to help despite calling them 3 times. I'll never use this website again and I'll advise anyone against purchasing through them.
I love how thick this mattress is. It's so comfortable and it looks so good in the bedroom. My grandsons like how it feels to sit or lay on it.
Received the futon mattress about a week before expected. It was bigger than I imagined but fit my queen size futon frame perfectly. I slept comfortably and it seems to be made quite well. It was soft and supportive. I'm definitely pleased with my purchase like all of my other ones
This was a fabulous purchase, extremely comfortable and soft fabric. Definitely going to get many years out of this futon mattress
We bought this Futon Mattress for a small camp that we own. The quality is exceptional and it is holding up nicely. We have owned this for a few years already and it still looks brand new. Everyone sleeps well on it and we will surely buy another if the time ever comes that we need it.
This was not the cheapest mattress available, but it was well worth the money. When I have company over night, they are happy to sleep on the "couch!" The mattress is thick and feels awesome to sit or lay on. I prefer this mattress in a futon frame because bedbugs have been an epidemic in my city. This way, the mattress fits easily into a bedbug cover and the futon frame is easily treatable. I do not have to throw out my furniture if an unwanted visitor comes over with a friend.
I spent a few long months trying to decide which futon mattress to buy cause i had a very cheap one, the less expensive from Walmart and was not comfortable at all to seat, much less to sleep. this one I bought as a bed for the guest room and is perfectly comfortable.I bought mattress protector and it paid off to search and read so many reviews for all the ones I was seeing.is very worth the good price. the package made it look like the wrong size, pretty small but is not. it fits perfect to the queen size frame I got from here as well.
PLEASE read entire review. I was mostly happy with this first purchase. The mattress is dense and comfortable for seating and for lying on. The microfiber is easy to clean and feels good. Tho' the red is on the pink side, (The third photo shows the true color.) it still works to make a statement in the sunroom. It was on backorder and we had to wait a couple extra weeks for it. However, the first time we put it on the sofa frame and sat on it, one of the ties on the outside row popped. I wanted to try to repair it myself and bought a really long needle, but the mattress is so dense, I couldn't even begin to get the needle through it. Am awaiting a resolution from Overstock., ,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Overstock is replacing the futon mattress with a new one. , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, UPDATE: We have now had 2 replacements for this futon mattress, both of which were in obviously imperfect condition upon receipt, with extra holes punched for the ties. Overstock has been great about replacing and offering a refund each time, but what I really wanted was a mattress in perfect condition! In 2-1/2 months, I have received three obviously imperfect futon mattresses. Sorry to say Blazing Needles disappointed us three times in a row with poor quality! The second and third photos are examples of the many imperfections we found on the second (one spot) and third (6 spots) mattresses. These holes not only look bad, I imagine they will rip open with regular use of the mattress. What ever happened to quality control? It's really too bad because I thought this would be a really comfortable mattress. , ,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, FINAL RESOLUTION with Overstock. I decided to keep the least damaged mattress and bought a futon cover from the closest futon store (100 miles away) for *** . I called Overstock, who offered me *** back or *** credit toward future purchases. REALLY? I get 3 defective products, keep one out of desperation, travel 200 miles and spend *** to make it serviceable, and that's your best offer? To top it off, I have to repack the 75 pound mattress in the original bag, vacuum out the air and stuff it into a little box so it can be shipped back. I took the *** credit because it's not likely I will shop here again. Customer service people are really nice, but this was a terrible purchasing experience! Sometimes you just gotta' cut your losses and move on... I did.
Met my expectations . . . I read other reviews but still felt a bit cautious about purchasing a futon mattress in the mail. We saved a lot of money by having it shipped for free to our home and it was a great price. Thankfully it came well packed and easy to get up our inside stairs. We kept our daughter off of it until it reached approximately 10 inches (48 hours). I do want to purchase a futon cover for it when not serving as a bed and would encourage others to do likewise.
