Not a great start to a new fan.
Product Option: Hardwired/Remote
The fan came with a screw loose in the fan housing compartment which I had to take apart to remove. The canopy was bent but I was able to straighten it. Probably during shipping so I understand that. The real complaint was that the remote quit working within 24 hrs. I ordered a different manufacturers remote, installed it and now it's working normally. The fan looks good and is quiet. I hope after the rough start I get a few years out of it. I'm skeptical

Fan is beautiful, however it is not adaptable to my application and I've had it on hand awaiting other parts and installation by an electrician, so I've exceeded the return window. It appears that I'm stuck with it…this doesn't happen on Amazon!
