Quick shipment and well packaged. The black shade is a nice neutral that looks very elegant with various lamp styles. The gold lining casts a lovely warm glow.
This is a very nice shade but if you're looking for bright light, this is not it. It is a very dim, low light emmision shade. Very pretty!

The quality of this shade is lovely. Beautifully made, this shade will make a statement! It will turn an ordinary lamp into a real accent. I did have a problem relating to measuring. My current shade is a "coolie" shade -very narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. I mistakenly thought I could compensate for the difference in sizes, but the configuration of the bulbs in my case made that impossible. The takeaway: measure, measure and measure!
This was a very sturdy lamp shade, however, much more glossy than was expected and had an almost plastic like quality to it. The hardware on top was also a bit off centered.
