Very Very nice lamp. Well made. Looks elegant and sexy. Puts out a warm light I did not expect. Adds a touch of class to my dinning room. It is just the right size, not too big or small.
Very well-made lampshades that will stand the test of time. The drum shape is elegant against the tall lamp base I paired them with. The gold interior of the shade creates a soft golden lighting effect. Depending upon the ambiance you are trying to create, this matters.
Arrived damaged. Not worth the hassle of returning, but disappointing. Have to turn the lampshade so the "wrinkled" side isn't showing. Otherwise it was just what I was looking for....
I wanted to replace old lamp shades. These had the closest dimensions. What is amazing is the glow effect created from the inside gold lining.
Love this shade!I have a lamp from the 70s that needed a new shade, but I didn't want a "fancy" one. The I saw this one... Don't get me wrong, it is plenty nice, and the gold lining reflects a nice warm light, while the dark color keeps the light level low. I took a picture with the overhead light on and o as well to try to show how it filters the light... The pictures don't really do it justice, but it is perfect or my needs, and as it was or the animals "playroom" the price was just right as well!
Inside of lampshade was scratched in several places and there is a slight crease in the outside of the shade.
