These chairs came as pictured. They were easy to assemble and were exactly what we were looking for. We liked them so much we ordered two more.
Good chair for the price. Not necessarily a comfy chair but serves the purpose of a place to sit. I did have significant difficulty putting chair together. The chair back has two flat metal rods that have to be inserted into metal grooves on the base. They were not lined up and I dad to use a screw driver like a show horn to pull the grooves back to match the alignment on the chair back.

The online photos and description of these chairs is very accurate. I had been challenged to find a grey that wasn't too dark (like a charcoal) or too light (almost like a pastel), and these are right in the middle. My only quibble is the legs; they look less "luxe" than the fabric, which slightly lessens the overall quality. Otherwise, the chairs are sturdy and firm, and the delivery was fast. A great buy!
These chair are great for what I needed them for just to sit in my bedroom. They are not the best quality but they are sturdy and look good. I had a slight problem with one of the metal backs sliding into place...the metal was slightly bent, nothing pliers could not handle. The gray color is more of a light to medium gray blend...it works for me!
It was what I expected, thanks to another reviewer who said it was more of a dark charcoal gray (not black), as that was what I was looking for. We were able to lightly sand and put a dark walnut stain on the legs, so that it matched our other furniture in the room. It took two of us to put it together, but overall, it was pretty easy. It'll be a great 'visitor's' chair.
These chairs are NOT black. They are more of a dark teal/grey. They are good quality chairs but not worth $ piece in my opinion. I would have kept them had they been black, however, they are not. UPDATE: Overstock was AMAZING in taking back these chairs-- absolutely the easiest return I've ever done and I'm super happy with the customer service.
Ordered BLACK chairs and these are NOT black. The "black" chairs are more of a grey chair with a green tint. I like the look of them which is why they're getting 2 stars and not 1, but unfortunately they are not the color they claim to be. They are also very stiff, so definitely don't order if you're looking for a super lounge-able chair. It's too big of a pain to return, otherwise I'd be returning these. Definitely going to rethink future purchases from Overstock. I spent so much time trying to find chairs that I'd like and at $***/pop these should have been the color they claimed to be.
Very comfortable, and a great pop of color! Everyone immediately goes to sit in this chair. it was easy to put together and the mid century design so appealing. I bought this when it was offered in peacock blue. The color is vibrant! It arrived well boxed and about five minutes to assemble the legs - easy.
