Will be suitable for you needs. The drawers were a surprise. Hanging space also allowed many shirts to hang with much more to it n.
I'm in love with this armoire, very nice! I confess that I was surprised by the quality of the material, it is very resistant, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Took the tech 9 hours to put together. It is a 2-person job at best, but they send just one lady and the unit is over 8 feet tall. One drawer has the screw reamed out and won't hold, and one handle for one of the wardrobe doors would not go on because the screw wouldn't go in - I need a new handle for that one. Too large to return unit. It will work, but for the price, quality could be better, and since I paid for the assembly, they should have sent at least 2 techs to work on it. Took over an hour for her to get the doors of the top part of the unit to line up so they would close. Not perfect now, but will at least close and work.
Using cheap materials, when you assembly it , the screw just like stick onto the board. You need to assemble the drawer most used items it will fall apart very easily
This comes FedX in two very large boxes each weighing aprx 130lbs...they are not allowed to deliver inside so make sure you have help and/ or a dolly to move them. It took two of us. There is a good instruction book and everything is labeled. Everything is pre-done rilled but not everything lined up so we needed to drill a couple holes. The front doors just dont line up well so the handles are not straight. The doors are wood, the structure is mdf and the back panels are white cardboard :( One back panel was taped at the seam so it stayed closed, not as visible sadly the other wasn't and looks cheap and is very visible when you open and look inside. We expected a little more. If assembly goes well, they do look nice and contemporary.
Looks great! It's not the first time I bought at bed bath and beyond not this time I loved it.
This armoire is huge!! It's like its own closet. It was a little hard to put together. It took a few hours, but once it's together, it's very nice! Good quality. It can also hold a lot of items. My daughter needed more closet space so we put it in her room.
For this price-point we expected a quality product. Here are the issues 1) extremely flimsy particle board panels 2) micro-thin white veneer which rips and cracks 3) large gaps between wardrobe doors, and between with the top rail molding 4) the door pulls fit poorly with the supplied 3/4" bolts. I had to buy 1" bolts and plastic spacers to affix. 5) The doors cannot easily be fine-adjusted vertically. the holes for the inside for the interior part of the hinge are pre-drilled, and the supplied instructions show screwing in all 4 at once. The recommended you tube instruction video shows a vertical adjustment that cannot be done with the pre-drilled holes. 6) parts missing: wood dowels and some screws. I had to improvise 7) two drawer railings failed because the cheap particle board pulled away from from the screws. we notified BBB of the problems and offered refund if the items were returned (two giant very heavy boxes packed in China), and this is not possible. I suppose if this was placed and used in an inconspicuous area in a house it may be ok.
These closets are amazing, I order 2 of them an filled in a wall in my room. added 2 6" fillers on each side and it looks completely custom made for the area! They are very heavy, so make sure you place them where they need to be.
You will need space to build this! The directions instruct the armoire to be built on the floor. However with a dresser, two night stands and a king sized bed in our room, we didn't have room to build it on the floor and we couldn't build it in another room and move it due to the tight corners in our hallway. We ended up having to build half of it on the bed and carefully dropping it to the floor. The other issue is that the doors and drawers don't line up as tightly as I'd like. At first I thought it was user error so I reviewed all my steps multiple times but after confirming everything was constructed properly and directions were followed accordingly, I realized there are just gaps in the structure. There are gaps between the drawers and doors but not large enough to see through. I tried using acrylic separators but when I put them over the shelf the doors didn't close all the way. Overall, the quality and look (other than gaps) is exactly what I expected and what I was hoping for. I am not disappointed at all but just realize it's a big piece of furniture!
