I noticed right away it doesn't have that wool rug odor like other wool rugs I've had. It's heavy and not stiff. Definitely cream and black; not white. Looks good with my contemporary minimalist decor. 8' x 10'. This was the best price I found.
You totally get what you pay for and this rug certainly lives up to this well k own and sage advice. Thick and beautiful, you can really feel the quality as you walk over this carpet with your bare feet. Plush and so luxurious! Some shedding, it that is to be expected with all new carpets! Laid out flat within a day and I'm so pleased with my purchase. It looks so expensive! I used it in my living room in a high traffic area.

It's more coarse than I expected. It's very thick which is nice if that's what you're wanting. I was also expecting a lighter color closer to white, the "cream" is kind of dirty looking to me. I don't like the material type at all, it attracts dog hair like a magnet and sheds small lint pieces everywhere, constantly. It's not very convenient to have to clean up after your rug everyday. I'm returning it.

The rug is absolutely perfect for our intended use. We have it under the bed and turned so that the design starts disappearing as it comes out from under the bed. We have gotten many compliments on it already.
