I was looking for an entry rug that matched another Safavieh runner rug that I purchased. This is a perfect match. Both have a nice light blue hue to them. I live at the lake, so I am going for a 'coastal' look.
I spent days looking at reviews on jute rugs from every vendor, then thinking, do I really want one?? Overstock is my go to, so I took a chance, hit the Pay button and waited. The rug came days earlier than expected - yay! The jute fibers are lustrous and absolutely beautiful and it is well made. The bits of black/blue thread add visual interest, don't worry about not having blue in your room to coordinate it with, it's subtle. And I have had no issue with fiber residue, dust, or smell. I love it! I bought the 6' runner
I love this rug. We have it on a screened-in porch and it has held up well for the last for the last three years. We have two dogs and cat and it gets lots of traffic. It has been vacummed regularly. It's very substantial.
We are loving these jute rugs. We bought four of them to cover the wood floors in our cabin. They are sturdy and there is a lovely green thread bringing in some color we were not expecting. We will likely buy more for additional coverage of the floors. They are perfect!
Good coloring. Light Blue running through really adds to the overall look. Soft under foot.

These jute rugs at a decent price are a decorators dream. They neutralize floor colors if you are living with a color or patter you don't like, and can easily be used in informal and more formal decor schemes. You can't go wrong.
I purchased this rug 4 years ago for my lower level which has a concrete floor. I wanted something with a very high pile to add to the warmth. When I originally opened the packaging, the jute smell was overwhelming. That has obviously dissipated but it took a good few months. This rug has held up exceptionally well but I do have to worry about the potential tripping hazard when I have company. My cats have scratched on it. My dogs have thrown up on it. I take it outside, hose it off, let it dry and done! That works for me!
Love how this rug looks in front of the French doors that lead to my back porch! I definitely recommend it.
