We have hard wood floors and got this rug pad to go under a rug we were putting two recliners to on to prevent slipping and sliding. The pad is great and I am glad we went with this versus the cheaper white one with holes. This is a no nonsense pad the does not shift around and have ends that move around and need to be manipulated every time something moves. Very happy with our purchase.
