We like this futon so much we may buy 2 more for our cabin to use in a sin porch. They are comfy as a sofa, and also they make perfect extra sleeping room when needed. We have the leather look. We have had a year now and no issues.
Love this futon sofa. Good quality & craftsmanship. Very challenging to put together over about 5 hrs. Thank goodness for the video - - and my handyman!

I was impressed with the quality and engineering. The instructions were excellent. The parts clearly identified. I'd recommend telling people that additional tools make the job a lot easier—that is, the provided Allen wrench is not the best tool for getting the job done. Not a complaint but just an observation.
Very nice quality futon. It was easy to put together. You do need two people to make it easy. Possibly could have done it by myself but the second person made it quite simple.
We are really enjoying this, it's very well made, I use a leather softener to keep the seat soft and clean, and it's much nicer than I expected. The seat does not slip down so you don't have to keep rearranging it, the frame is very sturdy, it does not creak or make any noise at all. Very very pleased with this purchase! Very nice looking, too! I have dogs, and they haven't even scratched the material, and that's 5 stars for me alone!

The futon was exactly as described. Looks great in my family room. Very sturdy yet very comfortable. Perfect for country living. I have 4 dachshunds that love taking a nap on it.
The framewas unbelievably easy to put together. The instructions are color coded and have illustrations for every step of the way. Its a one person job until the back of the futon is connected to the frame. The mattress is comfortably firm and supportive. I did need a helper to move the futon from bed to sofa position. I placed it at an angle openly, it may work better against a wall or it may become easier when the mattress is used and relaxed. Delivery was rapid, well packed and as always Overstock had best price.
