Not really washable and retains difficult to clean
Do not buy this rug. First of all, the rug came stained because it was rolled with the top side out and there was a sizable hole in the packaging, but I managed to minimize the appearance of the stain with some cleaner. This rug is advertised as being washable, but upon washing it following the care instructions for the first time, there was visible damage that looked like snagging running all along it in lines. In addition, it does not come clean. Prior to washing the rug, I attempted to remove just typical foot traffic wear with a carpet cleaning solution to no avail. For frame of reference, I have only owned this rug for about two months, and it looks absolutely filthy because it retains everything. It looks even worse after washing it. To make matters worse, my claim with the extended warranty was denied with no reasoning provided. It was obviously reviewed using AI as the claim was denied within mere seconds of me submitting it. Given the poor quality of the rug, false advertising, and thoughtless denial of an extended warranty claim, I may never purchase anything from Bed Bath & Beyond ever again.
