Was looking for an area rug to put in the living room, that wasn't too crazy. I received this rug and when I laid it down, it fit perfectly with the size and color. We needed a new rug for our cozy reading nook and I was drawn to this vibrant Blue and gold swirl rug. This rug fits well our area and transforms my reading nook into a trendy elegant room. The rug feels nice and soft while remaining sharp and vibrant. The back feels just fine and does appear that it will remain in place once on the floor. Probably don't put it on carpet unless you really want that. I love the fact that this is washable but that also explains why it is so thin. The pile on this is not very high and is a thin rug. It is very soft and the colors look amazing in person.
