Darker than pictured

I purchased this as I needed something with more storage. The size of it is good, and it is heavy (wood), so good quality. However, it is darker than pictured which was a bit disappointing. I was trying to match it with something else I have, but it isn't right. That seems to be a theme in the reviews, so overstock should re-photograph this product to closer match reality. I'm going to keep it as finding a good quality, wood cabinet, isn't always easy.

Nice quality for the price. The color and finish are pretty close to what is shown. The only issues I had were the two knobs for the doors would not thread all the way onto the screw. Had to cut down the screw so they would be tight to the cabinet door.

It is a great cabinet! The cabinet is lovely. Very solid. Very roomy. Great size. Would have given the rating a 5, except the color of the piece is much darker than the picture shows and doesn't compliment my table as much as a lighter shade would have.

This is a high quality, sturdy piece. Like other reviewers have said, it's a bit darker than the photo shown, but that's what I wanted. It goes together easily, I was able to do it myself in about an hour. Only modification I had to make was to put soft pads on the feet since they were a little rough. Otherwise a fantastic purchase!

Good buffet for extra storage

This buffet is a nice, solid, heavy piece. We couldn't adjust the doors to exactly line up, but it's still attractive with lots of storage for the dining room. I changed the nobs to a more substantial gold square. It goes nicely with our mid-century modern dining set. Assembly went smoothly, without much swearing by my husband :)

Nice, but different color than shown

Overall, a classy and high quality seeming item that gets compliments. However, the color is much different than is shown. Ours is like walnut with some lighter, warmer undertones, not cherry or apple wood as it looks in the photos. I agree with other reviewers that the knobs are small and don't look great, but these can be easily replaced. Assembly takes some time and patience due to cabinet doors.

The wood is beautiful in color and solid. Luckily it was not too difficult to assemble however the instructions could be better. Overall I am pleased with the assembled buffet. It has a clean mod mid century look which was the style I wanted.
