The frame cracked in less than a week of use. Not usable at all anymore. Too heavy/large/expensive to return for a refund. Don't bother. Total waste of money.
Everything was going fine. I was really excited to put this chair together for my granddaughter. I ran into a snafu when one of the holes for the dowels did not line up. The bolts do not line up either. I am currently unable to finish putting it together. I have to find a handy man to help me. Returning it would be difficult for me to repack and get it in my vehicle. I also plan to call customer service as soon as I get back in from out of town. Maybe they may have some suggestions on how to fix this.
The bowl of the chair doesn't match the base, okay. I can deal with that. The bowl slipping when you try to sit in it, is not good. The first day one of the bowl pieces broke away, very disappointing. I feel let down and what a waste of money.
Everyone who complains about "stability issues" with the top resting on the base probably has it assembled wrong. The wide part of the cone on the base sits on the floor. The narrow part cradles the chair. Listen, I'm not going to lie and I'm not going to pretend but I'm every bit of 278lbs. These chairs WILL HOLD UP. I have had the same one since 2006 and use it several times a week if not daily. This is a good investment.
Upon unpacking this, the wood looks like it was taken from a landfill. I will be returning it. Very disappointing

Cushion and wider pieces of rattan are strong. The little pieces that support the cushion seem like they are made of cork and broke the first day and now just keep continuing to break. Don't recommend buying unless they improve the quality.

Love my papasan chair! It is super comfy and came pretty much ready to use! The cushion is a nice white color and adds a great pop of brightness to our living area.
We love these chairs. Super easy to put together, probably takes about 15 minutes with one person. The cushion is comfy and we use them all the time.
