• This rug was originally created in Tabriz, Iran, and has since been copied and recreated by Jaipur village weavers in the Jodhpur region of India. The rug is hand-tufted using a pre-woven grid foundation and inserted yarn. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your rug looking new for years to come. The majority of the weavers are women who live in the villages of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, creating job opportunities for female weavers who otherwise would not have the opportunity to do so.
