- This rug was created by local weavers in the Bhadohi village in the Varanasi region of India. All processes from shearing, washing, dyeing, and weaving are done by hand. HERAT ORIENTAL has been providing beautiful, authentic, handmade rugs to Worldstock for over 10 years, creating jobs for over 2,000 local village weavers in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India.
