I actually didn't use this as a valance but as a dresser top runner. It is the perfect size for that, especially in a kid's room to protect my antique dresser.

Years ago I bought two of these valences for my family room. I was thrilled to recently find I could get one more for my kitchen! Thick, reversible fabric is beautiful and gives two decor options! I wish this came in even more colors for other rooms!
I just so pleased with those curtains. The colors just pop. We painted our kitchen peach. The way it worked out, every time I walk in, the peach stripe stands out. The curtains would work that way with any color paint.

Love this valance! Had to cut one down for a smaller window thinking I would have to hand sew the edge closed. The way it hangs that was not even necessary! Also the the alternating stripe on the back, although they should show that in their ad. Nice heavy fabric and hangs so nicely. Have them over a sliding glass door, a double window and a single window.
I have ordered these repeatedly to spruce up a beach house to get it back on the rental market. The material is very sturdy as opposed to some of the flimsy ones I've seen. When using 2 per wide windows, they gather beautifully. I have actually used them for top and bottom window treatment.

I purchased these valances as I had previously ordered the Katy quilt sets for my guest bedroom. They look great but were difficult to work onto the valance rods as they are as thick as the quilts. I am pleased with the final look of these with the matching quilts on the 2 double beds.
