This is a nice chair mat, but the quality is lacking… I've had it less than 2 months and the finish has lifted in spots and it looks like the boards are splitting. Disappointing given the price.
I have owned these mats for years. They have held up really well with only a few scuffs. They look alot better than a plastic mat and work on many surfaces vs. a spikey office mat that only works on carpet
Best chair mats we've ever bought. They look so nice and are very sturdy. Needed a pad with felt bottom for my new floors. These fit the bill!

Nice mat, has help up well in general. Moves around a bit, and wheeled chair on this mat on carpet can cause some of the wood to split.
This is a very pretty piece. easy way to upgrade from the usual plastic. It is sturdy and I like the felt lining underneath. However, I wish it was a bit wider---we move around a bit on the chair so I foresee this being an issue as we will slide off it then have to get back on it..if that makes sense. The length is great though. For a home use or just a single computer, and not a larger workstation set up, i think this will work perfectly. Now that I see it though I will be purchasing a second for the other side of the work station just to coordinate :)
When this item first arrived, it was beautiful, just like the photo. It does not adhere to even to a thin carpet. It slides around A LOT. Additionally, it chips easily. I wouldn't purchase again.
It look great on my wood floor.
We liked the wood accent with our desk. However, we have now had it for 2 years, and it has gouges in it from the desk chair rolling over it and a small strip splintered and came off. I just colored the missing spots in with a brown felt pin. Would not buy it again.
