This floor matt is not only eco-friendly, but it provides adequate protection for the carpet and it adds a much nice touch to the room decor compared to the plastic floor matts. I would rate my carpet at a medium thickness, so this matt probably wouldn't work on really thick carpets.
I absolutely love this -- so much better than my previous plastic mat where at least once a month I would catch a toe on one of the little "thorns." Ouch! The mat also was delivered flat and not rolled up, so it made it easy to just put on top of my carpet. Plus, the light bamboo is a great match for my pale yellow office walls. There are two reasons I didn't give this five stars. One, I wish it was a foot or two bigger, both length and width, but that's okay, it works. And two, at more than $***... that's expensive. I think $** would be a fair price and I wouldn't feel as if some price gouging had taken place. But overall, if you're tired of those prickly plastic mats, this is for you!
Just want I expected, great quality and durability.
I love this mat! It blends in nicely with the hard wood floors and protects them from the rolling of the chair. In my case, I waited way too long to get this, so the mat actually covers the damage already done to the floor. The chair moves easily on the mat and it fits under the desk really nicely.
This mat is exactly as advertised. It has held up and still looks great after years of use in my teenage boy's room. I recommend and would buy again.
I have had this chair mat for over 2 years now and it has held up really well. It rolls up, which is a nice bonus. The bamboo matches out bamboo floors; note that the chair mat is not really shiny, more of a matte bamboo finish.
Perfect size and works well.
I've purchased the plastic chair mats in the past and ended up having to replace them in about a year as they crack & look ugly. Spend the money and buy this one - works great on carpet!
These are fantastic. They have been in place for some time with daily use and they still look like new. Love the way they hold up and look terrific.
So far I love these. We got a set of 2 for our shared office at home. I have them over short pile carpet. Be aware that these are more slippery than regular plastic mats and also they need to be repositioned nearly daily as they don't stick as well as the ones with the nubbies. That said, it's easier to reposition. don't know if they will end up cracking or not. I surely hope not due to the price so if not it will be worth the investment.
