Not quite a soft as expected, but absorbs movement of partner without disturbing sleeper. The 16" is perhaps overkill and I would get the 14" next time for ease of moving or lifting mattress.
I did a lot of research before choosing this mattress set. I think this one checks all the boxes. The simmons name is known for quality and it includes a box spring in the price. Other sellers wanted an extra *** plus for the foundation. Very happy with it. It is very well made and comfy as well.
sleeping on a cloud comfortable
this is a great mattress, i was looking all over for a beauty rest that gave good support, but also was soft enough. we no longer need a topper on our mattress as it's soft but firm enough.
We bought this for our room at our lakehouse and currently have it on the floor waiting for the bedframe. It is very comfortable even on the floor. Thinking of getting this mattress for our townhome.
Consider yourself warned! DO NOT BUY THIS MATTRESS!!! I've bought this mattress in April it took some time for shipping, but that's is not the issue. It's August and I am sleeping in the a gapping hole. It's too late for Overstock to refund, so I've had to deal with the warranty. They declined my request to replace this inferior mattress and told me this, "Todays bedding products are more upholstered than a those of a few years ago, and body impressions will appear with use. Please be assured that this is not an indication of an inferior product. The bedding is contouring to the shape of your body in which it is designed to do". I would have to weigh 400lbs to give the body impression they suggest. I am beyond disgusted with Beautyrest. I have requested escalation. The only reason there are no pictures is because I can't capture the issue in a selfie.

I bought this mattress for the guest bedroom. It's very heavy and firmer than I wanted to be. I like my mattress plush but with good support. Compared to the Seally plush pillow top mattress I have in the master bedroom, Which already sagged on the side my husband sleeps on within a year, I think this one will remain its support in the long run. When you roll around, the other person doesn't feel the movement at all.
Purchased full size for my son's room, and decided to get a new queen for us. Great improvement! I don't think it stays as cool as they advertise, but still a great buy. It's a tall bed-order the lower box beneath!
I got this mattress to replace my old spring mattress that was over 20 years old, and I am in heaven I feel like I am sleeping on clouds and it also keeps my body cool at night which is a major plus!! I absolutely love this mattress and I tell everyone about it!!
