I have had this bed for a year now and it makes a wonderful addition to my guest room. My guest love it and when it is not in use it looks wonderful in the room.
I really like this bed but you kind of need two people to set it up and put it back. Great charging station! Very convenient
We love this Murphy bed! It fits our needs perfectly, as we live in a condo, we decided to convert the office into a kids play room/bedroom. The charging station is an added bonus. The quality is fantastic, solid construction. Just recommend putting skid protectors or sliders underneath it before assembly if you plan to move it after it's assembled, it's pretty heavy. Super easy to pull out, and we love the added drawer space. Our friend bought one as well, and our son wants one now too!
Love the bed but is very large if you have a small room, it is a little hard but good for kids that come over and need a extra bed if a adult used it I would get a topper for it so not so hard
So pleasantly surprised at how nice this is… I needed a small unobtrusive bed for my tiny room. It took two hours to put together. Came in three huge, heavy boxes. Have not slept on it yet, but it looks perfect for my purpose.
I am extremely happy with this purchase. I ordered the item on a Tuesday night and it arrived on Thursday morning, less than 2 days after ordering. The 5 boxes the item came in arrived in pristine condition and all items were packed well. I know that other reviews indicate the items were damaged in shipping or the paint/stain on the product was damageed, but this was not my experience. It took 2 people to move each box upstairs to the room it was to be assembled in. I was able to complete the assembly mostly on my own and I am not handy with tools. The only step I asked for assistance with was to install the hinges on the bed platform as the holes were not predrilled. The instructions do not say to predrill the holes and instructs to just insert the screws, but my husband predrilled the 12 holes and then installed the screws. Once assembled we did have an issue with the buckles that hold the murphy bed closed as they were installed in the factory too far apart. I did reach out to support for assistance and they replied within about 48 hours and suggested that we move the buckle closer to the hook and if the holes were visible to reach back out for further help. I had my husband do this step (predrilling new holes and reinstalling the screws) and the previous holes were not visible. The bed is really well made, It appears to be all wood except for the back panels which are made out of a composite (plastic) type material. The mattress is just firm/soft enough that I believe anyone would be comfortable sleeping on it. The bed has no movement and makes no sounds when moving around while in it. I did swap out the visible hardware as I had a preference for black hardware instead of the brushed nickel hardware it came with. My favorite part of the bed is the drawer where I am able to store some of the bedding needed to make the bed.
We love this bed! This Murphy bed is sturdy, comfortable and looks modern and well-made. Goes well with other furniture, easily converting our office into a guest room as needed. THINGS TO NOTE: 1. We purchased a 1.5 inch memory form mattress topper to make it even more luxurious for my mom's visit. Without the mattress topper, the mattress is still comfortable, but I could feel the fold in the tri-fold mattress near my knees 2. The bed came in 5 boxes; so we hired someone to put it together for us lol He did it in about 1.5 hours.
This is pretty nice for the price. All the pieces were included, but one of the pieces of the bed frame was snapped but repairable. The mattress is comfortable, and there is enough room to store pillows in the drawer, and linens tucked into the cabinet itself.
I think this was one of the best investments I have ever made.
We were very pleased with how this item was packed. It was easy to put together, and seems very sturdy. The mattress is a lot more comfortable than expected. This is a great solution for a guest bed.
