Lightweight and easy to install. Metal not as strong, or heavy as I would like, but is substantial. Works perfectly over my walk-in tub and helps keep the water off the back surround-which I was 'mopping up' every time I used the shower feature. Must use two shower curtains- one just will not do! So, double up on the rings and buy two curtains, placing one across the back and the other in the front, so you can pull them shut... towards your faucet when you shower, and your water problems will be solved.
Worked well with our vintage claw foot tub, but is was not as long as the tub, so it created a smaller space to bathe in.
Purchase for a bathroom added under an attic eave in an historic home, and works really well. The design allowed me to adjust the size to fit the ceiling slope.
Not as sturdy as I had hoped. Reviews were misleading. Installation was not an issue, just not strong enough to hold 2 curtains level.
This is a hard to find item. It's a little flimsy, but does the job! We had to secure where the pole attaches to the circular part with additional screws because it fell down a couple of times.
This was the perfect solution to my 1950's bathroom with no shower and a claw foot tub. I tried to install this by myself but ended up hiring someone to do it for me. The set screws are a little confusing and I wanted to make sure it was solidly anchored in the ceiling. I also had to cut the tube that hangs from the ceiling-maybe my tub sits higher than normal ones, I don't know. The hardware store did the cut for me for free so not a big deal.
I love this. Keeps the shower curtain up and works smoothly when pulled. Doesn't stick and hang up like some do.
This shower mount is better than I had expected in that it is far stronger than one would think coming out of the box. The reason for this is the end connections are strong enough to hold the frame together and stabilize the ceiling mount/wall mount. I have two light curtains on it and a hotel style curtain with no problem of sagging.
