Supportive, Comfortable Wedge Pillow
After trying a different style wedge pillow, which ended up being too tall and massive for our sleeping comfort, I found this brand/size. The rise at the tallest part is a much better fit for my personal comfort. I actually wish that it was a little bit smaller, as two of these side by side definitely fill up a queen sized bed width.
One thing that I didn't like was the "knit" synthetic pillow covers that came originally on the pillow. I searched online and ended up ordered a 100% cotton alternative which is much more comfortable for sleeping. If you order this pillow, be aware that the included cover isn't smooth and soft. To me, it felt clingy and made for hot sleeping.
The foam composition does provide a lot of support, which is a key component of wanting to have this kind of pillow. This item is a much better purchase for our preference than what I'd tried originally.

Cheap Cover Material

This wedge pillow comes with the air extracted, rolled up in a box. The instructions indicate that you can either manually fluff it by several minutes in a dryer with no heat and a couple of tennis balls (or wool dryer balls), or else wave around by hand. I just put it out with room to expand for several hours, and the air expansion took place on its own.
What I don't care for at all is the cheap polyester cover. I'd purchased this kind of wedge pillow from BB&B some years ago, and it either came with, or I was able to buy a cotton cover. The description of this item states that it has a stretchy knit cover, without stating the composition of the fabric. I wouldn't call this stretchy knit fabric at all.
My hope is that it won't result is sleeping extra hot, especially during the summer months when it's already difficult enough to get comfortable enough to sleep.
The foam is firm, heavy even. I expect to have good support from this wedge. The 6 inch tallest height should be a comfortable lift without being too extreme.
I'll try searching for a cotton cover to replace the cheap one that the pillow arrived with, but not sure how easy that will be. This item isn't returnable, so I'm stuck with it.

Great wedge

This is a firm wedge, great for sleeping on your back, but on the rare occasion that I've slept on my side I have had no problem. When I unpacked it, it was compressed, but in minutes it was perfect. There was no odor. I been using it about 6 weeks now and it has maintained its shape. I would recommend this wedge pillow.

Smells bad

This wedge smells bad. Wish I could return it but I already opened it. I don't know how this is even comfortable...it's not. I had a back ache after sleeping on it for one night. Two pillows propped up work much better.
