Finally, a genuinely supportive pillow!
When this arrived I immediately knew it was different. Just holding it in my hands it felt like super soft plush toy, and just as comforting. But I knew better than to judge it by how it felt in my hands. I once tried a memory foam pillow that felt good in my hands, but felt like a brick under my head. I would wake up with a sore ear. I also had a latex foam pillow. It was much better than memory foam, but it was a little too bouncy. And, of course, I've had the poly-fluff type that just go flat pretty quickly. This one is very different. It has a firm latex foam layer on one side, and a softer "gel fiber" side, which feels like poly-fluff, but maintains its shape. The latex side is very firm, not bouncy at all. Unlike memory foam it has just enough give to keeping it from feeling like a brick, while still being very supportive. Flip it over and the gel fiber side provides a softer experience. It compresses more under my head than the latex side but it doesn't go flat. Having the latex foam layer under it keeps the fiber side from collapsing too much, so it maintains good support while feeling very cozy. And so far it has kept its shape. I've had it about 3 months now and the fiber side has never failed to return to its original profile when I get up. Generally speaking, I find the latex side best for sleeping on my back, while the fiber side is a bit more comfortable on my side. But I use both sides for both positions, depending on how I feel going to bed. Since got it I've been sleeping much better. It's definitely the best pillow I've ever had.
