  • Not what I wanted it to be
    Verified Purchase

The suction was pretty good on this, but the dirt bin isn't very big so you have to empty it every few minutes. My biggest complaint is the noise - you can't be in the same room as it. The sound is deafening. You've either got to run it while you're gone or in another room. Not exactly what I was hoping for. It now collects dust - I haven't used it for at least a year.

  • Might not last

I purchased this 6 months ago. Today the "eye" is dead. After 3 hours of customer service they wanted to send me a new unit. GREAT until you pay MORE. Also beware that the warranty is just that. They do not care if the unit dies in the middle. I also do personally have a problem that they want to charge you and the person on the other end giggles and you have to repeat the information 4 times. Save yourself the trouble and stay away.

  • Very happy with this product

I feel like I have a new toy. There have been a few spots it has not been able to clean up but over all I am very impressed with it. I did go out and buy extra filters but now that it has running 3 times a week the filter is not getting as cake up with dog hair (dog is now gone). It did get trapped once under my recliner but as soon as I found it, it continued on its way to finish the job.

  • POWERFUL and built like a tank!

I love it so much, I bought my mother one for her birthday. I own a Neato as well as a Roomba and there is no comparison. My Roomba fees like a cheap plastic toy (thin plastic, very light, weak suction, not very "smart") while my Neato is the exact opposite: It's tough, built like a tank, has a clear LCD status screen (the Roombas do not have) and real push buttons (the Roombas have a thin piece of plastic over a "snap" like button -- the kind that wears out over time). I also own a Dyson upgright ball vac (manual vacuum) and I prefer my Neato to my $600 Dyson. To also compare, the Roomba is very quiet ,but that's because it's not very powerful. It's like a quick vac and it often misses spots and can't pick up pieces of cat food for example. My Neato, on the other hand, sounds like a VACUUM cleaner -- because that's exactly what it is. The beauty of the Neato is that it is totally automated -- you simply push the red button and it takes off. When it's done, it returns to its charging station -- and if you have a big house like mine (3000 soft), it will do multiple charging cycles in the event it can't get clean everything with one charge. It CAN, however, clean approx 1200 square feet in one go. I have ceramic tile floors through-out with rugs here and there and the Neato has no problem. I turn it on at night before I go to bed and close my door -- when I wake up in the morning, the floors are immaculate -- saves me soo much time -- about an hour a day worth of vacuuming. I highly recommend it. Some of my friends turn theirs on before they go to work, but for me, I work from home and don't want it running during the day -- but either way, whenever you decide to run it, gets the job done.
