Like many reviews I have read about this TV, it is a basic "few bells and whistles" 4K TV. As a refurbished unit, the price was great. It arrived undamaged and in like new condition. This TV has 4K resolution only when 4K programming is delivered through the HDMI1 port. It does NOT upscale HD or SD programming like so many 4K TVs do these days. The screen image is incredibly detailed and sharp in regular HD mode (I don't have a true 4K DVD player), and there are a few basic adjustments available for sound and picture quality. After tweaking them a bit, I'm happy with the picture. The sound only sports about 8 watts per channel, so it is not a robust, room filling sound from this TV, but it's adequate for late night viewing in the bedroom I bought it for. All in all, it's an okay basic 43 inch TV that has enough going for it that I feel I got my money's worth. REVIEW ADDENDUM: To anyone purchasing this TV, be aware that most of the included picture settings in setup have the color saturation level set at 50. I'm assuming the unit I bought is no different from other new or refurbished units sold, but at the 50 setting the colors are seriously over-driven and even the black and dark images on screen have a lot of glowing blue in them. I finally backed the "COLOR" setting in the "PERSONAL" (customized) configuration down to 35 and the colors look a whole lot more natural with the black parts of an image looking black. Just a suggestion.
We do enjoy our television, and surprisingly 720 pixels is fine for us, as we live in a small apartment & sit 8-10 feet from the TV. However, we were disconcerted to find that the screws to hold the base to the TV were too short to work & we had to make a trip to a hardware store to get the correct length of screw. Then, since the directions were less than clear, we missed installing one of the screws, so the TV is less than stable on the base. We set it up close to the wall so we won't brush against it and tip it over. When we get a chance to get to the hardware store again, hopefully we'll be able to get another screw & have someone turn the TV upside-down & install the additional screw. So be sure to check the screws for length, and one of them goes into the bottom of the base and into the TV.
