Arrived on time, well packaged. Husband had no trouble assembling them. They look very nice. The real test will be if the cats knock them over - that is what did in my Pier One chairs! The distressing is nicely done, light, but definitely there. The fabric is a nice linen and the color is good - just shy of being a cafe au lait brown, I would say, more than a true taupe, but great color that should go nicely when I repaint the room in Benjamin Moore's Cotswold Aura Color. The chairs seem lightweight, but not flimsy, and the cushions are firm but comfortable.
Really like. Easy to assemble but they have no firm attachment for seat to chair. 4 smell screws are sent but No place to use. They go no where. Do you just put seat on top and not firmly attach. Not sure this will be good once I start using them but they look good
I am using these with a white dining room table that I have refinished. The color was matched to a leg of the chair and comes up as in stock ultra white paint at lowes. So they are definitely white and play to a theme of coastal elegance. Assembly is 8 screws per chair and no nail heads are on the very back of the chair cushion (the part that faces out when chair is pushed in). Overall good purchase as they are not your typical beige cloth chairs that are so in right now.
Love the look of these chairs. Solid built and pleasant feel to the velvet. Love the color and stud detailing. Very comfortable. We use these as kitchen chairs. The assembly took some time. But if you follow the instructions, there is no problem.
