The book is a great value. The pictures are great and give very good decorating ideas. I found that the recipes for her cakes are geared to fruit cakes and a heavier cake. In addition to fondant, marzipam is used on every cake. Comparing this to US books I have, I think the US cake recipes are more edible where I think you might pick off the marzipam and fondant from cakes before eating them. I usually do not buy this kind of book, but I am glad I bought this one.
