I have nearly every personal die cutting machine on the market. This machine does offer more flexibility in designing than the Cricut, but the downfall is the mat. A new mat is too sticky but they lose the stick very easily. The cutting mats are also more expensive than the mats for the Cricuit machine. Also if you need other images you must purchase them. Most of the images are .99, so you have the weigh that versus spending $$ to $$ for Cricuit cartridges. If you get this machine experiment with cheap card stock as you will probably go through some paper.
