So far so good. I haven't used it a lot. I orginally bought it to use to cut out photographs printed right next to each other. This is my complaint. I'm better off letting a printer or copy place do the accurate cutting I need. Putting that aside it has lots of uses and mainly craft oriented. If you love to scrapbook or create lots of interesting things and shapes and designs this can be quite the tool for you. Some learning curve. After buying it there is newer updated software and it's not cheap...but worth the updating. Also do remember to update your software via the companies site every now and again to keep your software and machines working at their best. I have a dear friend who is an expert at this who gave me a heads up on the learning curve by spending two days teaching me some in's and outs. So if you know anyone who has one ask them for a day of encouragement and lessons. I've used the pen holder as well as the knife. I've got the needle puncher and the embosser and my friend gifted me the etching tool. I've not used the needle or the etching tool yet. Hunting down fonts to enjoy the pen tools is quite the workout on the net. They do have two disks of script but not many and pretty expensive. Be prepared to spend more money on accessories and make sure you pick up extras such as the blades. A lot of homework is needed to keep up with the newest software and new software changes. I wish there was some jig that would allow accurate placement of paper every single time. It would get 5 stars out of me then. Also I'm not fond of having to purchase upgraded software every few years. But this does have lots of possiblities for people who can think outside the box and who love to create from scratch. I recommend the unit and enjoy the 6 month subscription to their creative site but make sure to cancel in time so as not to be charged 19+ a month after that intro period is done. The customer service is great and go out of their way to be helpful. Which is a plus plus plus with any of these companies. Happy Making Stuff Everyone....
