We had to give up our glass coffee table when our first baby started walking. We have friends who used an ottoman for a coffee table and thought it was a good idea. When we found this ottoman that was soft enough for the toddler, but doesn't look like it belongs in a kids room, we gave it a try. It has proven to be very durable center piece for our living room. Feet, food and a crayon wielding toddler have been unable to permanently mar the leather and the storage space is perfect for blankets and baby toys.
