Unlike American companies, who seem to want to put all of we crippled people in those electric toys, Euro and Asian physicians still focus on keeping people walking if they're able. I fit that; a spinal infection in 2010 left me crippled up. As most have, I started out with a walker but those are noisy and irritating. I discovered rollators and haven't looked back. I have three, of which this is one. I ordered it on here because my local handicapped store had nothing like it, only those cheapie Hugo things. I'm in my mid fifties and other than a ruined spine I'm okay. A rollator is perfect for someone like me who really wants to get around, and not on an electric plaything. This rollator is much more substantial in feel and action than the Hugo-type rollators. Look at the size of the front wheels; if you're going to be walking outside at all those silly Hugo wheels are far too small and will catch on sidewalk seams. The other thing to notice with this rollator is the wheelbase between the front and back wheels. It's long, for real stability. Those flimsy Hugo-type machines have a short wheelbase that compromises stability. This folds easily, isn't overly heavy, and other than a few minor scratches over the last 18 months, it's in perfect shape even with daily use. I'd definitely recommend it to other crippled people.
