this buffet is modern looking and good for the price you pay. however, i expected a better quality with actual wood pieces, but got the cheaper processed wood instead. installation was difficult and took better part of a day. the end result was a good looking piece that fit into our existing dining room, and it is sturdy enough to not shake or move if you put some weight on it (such that i don't have to worry about it falling apart if there was an earthquake). my biggest complaint would be that the storage space isn't wide enough to put large pots or platters in it, but it is adequate for bar items such as wine glasses, napkins, small plates, etc. overall, it was a decent value for the price.
