Do you enjoy IRONING? Then these are the sheets for you! They came out of the dryer extremely wrinkled, even though I used the slow spin cycle in the washer and used fabric softener in the rinse. I guess I should have known that 100% cotton, even though a high thread count, would wrinkle badly. But to make matters worse, the wrinkles did not want to come out even ironing with a steam iron with the extra "burst of steam." I even tried sprinkling them with water like I used to see my Mom do with my Dad's white shirts in the 1950's -- all to no avail. I had to iron every piece. I finally got them "useable." They are still wrinkled, but a little less deeply so. On the plus side, they are "cool" to the touch, have a "crisp" feel to them, and the fitted sheet has the extra deep pockets that I need. I am hoping they will improve with SEVERAL washings. I hate to think that I will have to send these out to the local dry cleaner every time I need them washed, but that's what I may have to do to get them nice and flat like I want. I had hoped to use them in my guest room for company at Thanksgiving, but I will opt for others instead at this point. Next time, I will make sure they say "wrinkle free" in the description.
