This was the worst and most disappointing transaction we ever had. this was us trying overstock.com for the first time and the whole episode has left a bad taste. I spent good 1 hour in assembling the entire set and then same time in packing it back. Trust me, we are not experts in packing such stuff and getting it back into the package box was a tedious task in itself. the mirror doesn't connect to the table. I called them and they promised of a replacement which again had the same problem. once the replacement was shipped from overstock, i got a call from overstock that the mirror cannot connect to the table anyways. they should have checked with the warehouse on the product before sending the replacement. I asked them to put it on the website but till date - its not done and the product is sold like earlier only. Again,In my last call I was told that the UPS guy will not come the very next day of my call for package return, but he turned up and left a note at the door saying they'll make attempt 2 on Thursday between 2-5 PM EST. I waited whole day and they didn't turned up between the estimated time mentioned. I left my house around 0630 PM and returned back at 730 PM and BANG. here was another slip of attempt 2. How good was that? Overstock anyways do not have control on this. I do understand that. It was especially placed for my wife's b'day today and we already had a bad experience with this set which was supposed to be her gift. I would like to get the order cancelled and the money refunded At the end, I never got the 10% discount which was offered for the inconvenience caused. I will stay way from Overstock.
