I recently purchased a new rifle for close in deer hunting here in the south. Average shot distance is 50- 150 yards and the big bucks are out early morning late evening. I had read about the Bushnell Banner series and decided to jump due to the price figuring if I was wrong nothing really lost. Took the new rifle (270-win) to the range and the scope was easy to zero in- i got it on the paper with scope adjuster from BSA. 6 shots later it is on and at 100 yards I had a nice shot group. The 3x9 reticle is nice but I used the lower powers due to the location of my stand. Excellent light during the early morning hours and I was able to see clealry in the evening. Seems to have held its zero over the wek of hunts. I know they are people who would not buy this scope. I thnk today Bushnell has excellent quality- much beeter than just 10 15 years ago, The scope is clear, did not fog in the early morning mist, kept its zero and is light and sturdy. I suppose if you have a $$$$ dollar rifle go for a $$$$ scope, I am happy with the value in this one. After the weeks hunt tested the zero again yesterday at the range- still spot on. Great value!
