Joan W. Review
The bottom line is that this mattress lives up to all that I've heard. I've had problems with waking up in the night, among other things, and with neck pain. I noticed an improvement right away. A good night's sleep is as precious as health...and in fact contributes to it. I read the reviews before purchasing and noted the experiences of others. Here's a rundown. It arrived 7 days after placing the order; all good. I was amazed that it was rolled and vacuum sealed in such a small box. Upon removing the packaging, it took shape like a slow-motion inflatable raft. Just an hour or two, and it was ready for sleeping. The unpleasant smell noted by others was not apparent to me. I noticed from the tag that it was manufactured the day before it shipped. Two corners did not take shape like the others, and I had to unzip the covering and separate it from the foam; the glue had seeped out. Not a big deal. It is well worth the money, considering the cost of the brand-name mattresses. The first time you try it, you think that it's too firm. But it quickly molds itself to your shape, supporting you where you need it, which enables your muscles to relax. Sleep soon follows. It doesn't hurt to purchase memory-foam pillows to go with this mattress. They don't fill out a pillowcase very well, but they keep your neck muscles relaxed and your spine in a good position. Now that I'm sleeping better, I'm told I look better, and I feel better as well. In summary: a very wise purchase. This "NASA memory foam mattress" is highly recommended. And for the money I spent, I almost feel like I got away with something. Don't waste time thinking about it; just do it! You won't regret it.
