I have fine, straight hair and ionic dryers leave my hair flat. This was described as a ceramic dryer with 6 settings. The instructions state that it is only intended for professional use on Alternating Current 600 hertz. I have no idea what that means. There are 2 settings, not 6. The 2 prong plug fits loosely into my 2/3 prong socket. The concentrator does not fit the nozzle. It runs hot on high but has less blowing power than my 1600 watt dryer. It leaves my hair limp and without body. I only gave it ** because I think it might work well on hair that tends to be frizzy and is not too thick. This is the second review I have written. The first disappeared when I clicked preview. My search for a non ionic and now non ceramic hair dryer with good blowing power continues.
