Transolid's Wet Floor shower base is a perfect solution for those who have trouble stepping over a higher shower threshold or bath or for anyone who enjoys the beauty and simplicity of a flush shower floor. It is the easiest, fastest way to build a curb less , level-entry shower. Made of numerous layers of Transtone, a sheet-molded compound material that is solid throughout the base and is supported by sturdy structural ribs underneath that radiate out from the drain opening. When combined with a thinset mortar installation, this creates a flex-free, water-tight installation and a foundation that you can count on. Expensive look at an affordable price: you can now have the lavish bathroom of your dreams while saving time, money and hours of frustration ensuring a leak-proof tiled shower enclosure. Easy installation: the underside of the base is supported by sturdy structural ribs that radiate out from the drain opening. Solid surface material: Transtone is a sheet molded compound material constructed of many solid layers of a glass-reinforced polymer resin. Thin and structural: base rests directly on the joists and matches up with surrounding substrate materials. There are many benefits to using the same solid material throughout the base; protection against scratches, nicks, and gouges, four times the impact resistance. Shower base comes pitched for precise alignment of the drain with the shower base and tile.
