Sony PMW-F5 CineAlta Digital Cinema Camera

The Sony PMW-F5 CineAlta is a professional-grade digital cinema camera engineered for high-end film, television, and commercial productions. Featuring an 8.9MP Super35 CMOS sensor, the F5 offers 14 stops of dynamic range and a modular design for flexibility across shooting environments. It records 2K and HD internally using the efficient XAVC codec on SxS PRO+ cards, and 4K/2K 16-bit raw externally with the optional AXS-R5 recorder. The F5’s native FZ-mount and included PL-mount adapter provide compatibility with a wide range of cine and still lenses. With support for high frame rates (up to 240 fps), simultaneous proxy and raw recording, and advanced viewfinder options, the F5 is built to deliver cinematic imagery and efficient workflow integration.
