Story Behind the Art:
'I come from a family of weavers, it is a legacy I inheritedfrom my great-grandfather,' says Mario Chavez. 'My aim is topreserve and promote the beauty of the Zapotec art. We dye the woolwith natural colorants and we work on the pedal looms.'
