Evoking the grandeur of the Mughal era, Kamal in India creates this mango wood photo frame that features a rustic finish. The frame features vine motifs in 'jali' openwork at opposite corners and can hold a 4x6 photo either vertically or horizontally.

Story Behind the Art:
Kamal says, 'I've always admired India's handcrafted art. I work mostly in iron, brass and aluminum, but I also combine the metals with wood, horn, bone and glass to create beautiful votives, mirrors and photo frames. The metals used are all recyclable. I work with a number of artists who translate my ideas into handcrafted designs through their wonderful skills.'
