The Through Lines series' expression of nature's form and processes is one of the core principles of architecture philosophies developed and popularized by world-famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Greentouch worked closely with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation® to develop this series of bath products for its USONIA brand. Wright's goal for USONIA was to democratize good design by making it accessible to everyone. The vertical lines and use of cherry solid wood, plywood, veneers and can be found in many examples of Wright's work, making a compelling statement in any space that would benefit from his approach to design & architecture.
Frank Lloyd Wright adopted the term "Usonian" for the houses that he designed as affordable, practical houses for America's growing middle class. Usonian homes responded not only to the lives of the inhabitants, but also the surrounding natural environment. As a result of this thoughtful design, the lives of those who lived in Usonian homes were enriched with beauty.
