The frame was hand from cross-directional engineered hardwood. The lasting strength and stability, will not change shape due to changes in temperature or humidity. Each frame has centered cross rails to reinforce the life of the furniture piece. The high gauge steel no-sag sinuous spring suspension system is secured with strong metal clamps and reinforced with hand-clamped wire to prevent noise and help redistribute weight equally across the frame. All upholstery is hand-sewn by skilled craftsmen, each one taking the time to retrofit the upholstery onto the frame and ensure a perfect fit. The seat cushions are blown in the USA and feature an eco-friendly foam core that is made of plant-based materials. While the back cushions are filled with either foam or down/fiber blend that acts as a cradle to your body. All of our spring and down cushions retain inner-springs that are cut center to the inner foam-core The inserts allow for a long lasting cushion life while enfolding a sumptuous blend of comfort.
