  • Very pretty bowl
    Verified Purchase

The stand is cheap but the bowl is so nice that, for the price, is well worth it.

  • Graduation Gift!
    Verified Purchase

This bowl is my favorite of the 5+ bowls I"ve bought across the past couple of years. The sound is clear and resonant. Plays well either striking the bowl [a.k.a. inviting the bowl to sound] or by circling the rim with the striker. I just ordered 3 more for Christmas gifts.

  • Singing bowl is nice
    Verified Purchase

It is nice, I changed out the mallet for one with a covered end and I like the sound a bit more. I think it works well, especially for the price.

  • Love this bowl
    Verified Purchase

I love this bowl! I wanted to be able to give it a 5 star rating, but couldn't because the paint on the stand was flaking off on the bottom of it when received. I just sprayed a little black paint on it, and it was fine, even for giving as a gift. But, I know this would put most people off. When buying a new item, you expect it to be perfect. I bought this at a clearance price, though, and felt I got way more than the price I paid for it. The bowl itself was an excellent quality. I love it, and the sound and tone is makes is wonderful. I was very pleased and may end up buying one for myself. Was too bad about the stand, though.

  • Damaged, accoutrements low quality
    Verified Purchase

The bowl is okay. I was surprised by how small and heavy it is--it's about as wide as my hand without the fingers is long, but it's definitely copper. The surface has many scratches, some very noticeable, and also is tarnished. The wooden thing it comes with is rough and not pretty. The stand has peeling black paint and doesn't sit with all legs on the ground at one time. The bowl's design is low contrast, with the dark tarnished metal against the black design on it. All in all, buy something else. Some of the quality issues may be related to the fact that it was in a box in a smaller box with no padding or other packing materials meant to protect it.
