For ages this remote area has been a trading center, significantly contributing to the business of the great silk routes. Kilims are known as 'pileless' rugs; the design is also known as 'slitweave.'

Beautiful rug, nicely made, and good thickness. Color is not grey, it is - dare I say - navy. Would have been annoyed had the rug not been so beautiful regardless!
Beautifully crafted and the geometric pattern gives it character. Been getting tons of compliments. Read the small print under "details" the coloring is not as pictured the ivory is more off-white and the dark gray pattern is a lighter gray. It actually worked out perfectly in my case. Also, the rug pattern is much more ivory than pictured, not ideal for high traffic areas.
It was an impulse buy, based on the picture. It has worked out well.
Thin and pretty low quality (there are some holes from broken stitches where the colors come together), but it looks nice and protects the floor from the dog. It is just what I wanted.
Was happy to get this rug for a casual accent in my office that has the wood flooring and paneled walls. Really helped to lighten it up. I thought it was a great price and it came without delay.
I have had this rug for almost 2 years now and absolutely LOVE it! It wears well and looks great! If you are looking to sit on it all the time, it is a bit scratchy, but not too bad. I would highly recommend this rug!
Very nice rug but I was unable to keep it. Way to rough for baby's knees while he's crawling around and playing.
As you can see from above, the fringe is not tied off well, and blends into the next creating knots. The fringe on one end is dirty. I wouldn't recommend spending $*** on this item. It does look like the photo, and is really what I wanted, but it's a disappointment to have it arrive in less than 'new' looking condition.
This rug is beautiful. The colors are as described: navy and off-white. The colors in the photo are much lighter.
This rug is true to size and the colors looked exactly like the one in the picture. I did use a 5 X 7 rug pad under it. I am very happy with the result and I may order a second one for my dining room. The price was great for a kilim rug of this quality.
