Looks real, as long as you do not touch the leaves of course. We will get a nice pot to put it in and then I am sure it will look its best. I bought this for myself and our small dogs have absolutely loved it so much that I went back to buy two more for other spaces for them. Since they are so small and getting older, it has been harder for them to jump up on the couch or our beds and this gives them more independence.
