  • Perfect!

Great little helper to learn to walk. Can't wait unail granddaughter can ride it. She is 12 months, but small. She liked pushing it around but legs are still a little short for her to sit on it and scoot. When ready, I think she will really love it. Very lightweight and smooth on wood floor.

I bought this for my granddaughter. She started using it as she was beginning to walk 10 months. She is 18 months and still loves it! Best toy I have gotten her.

This is well made. Rolls easily in all directions. Recommend little one getting on and off bike on carpet because little motion moves the bike easily which is good and bad. But they master easily.

  • Only regret is that we didn't purchase it sooner!

Our local toy store no longer carries this toy, but they still have one in their toddler play room. The kids go to it like moths to a flame. Two small children (ages 18-36 months) can both fit on the seat We had purchased a QuickSmart Scuttlebug based on its amazing reviews (and it is a great little toy!), but the Pewi Ybike is a little bigger and its wheels swivel 360 degrees to follow the bike whichever direction my child moves (as opposed to the Scuttlebug whose rear wheels are fixed and whose front wheel is controlled by the handlebars like a traditional bike/trike). This makes it a little safer (less risk of baby losing balance and toppling sideways off the bike) and definitely more fun (the bike responds to my son's movements, so he doesn't get frustrated with it). The wheels are "rollerblade" style wheels so they are quiet and non-damaging on my wood floors, and even roll pretty well on carpet. I call it his "bike," but when he goes to play on it he always signs "car." I think that's because of the big round "steering wheel," which doesn't actually steer the bike, but looks and feels like a steering wheel in his hands. My son is 17 months and is enjoying the toy, but I wish I'd purchased it around 12 months.

Design prevents wall nicks, no handle bars keep little one from hitting themselves in stomach or face. Caster wheels move freely. First couple times our little guy used it as a push toy (he's one) we kept a hand on him until him got used to the new standing position. Then, he was a free man!. Works great on low plush carpet, is much faster on hardwood and tile-we were a little more protective the first couple days on the more slick surfaces. He uses it very well, and easily indoors. Don't think we will use it outside- to preserve condition of wheels. He's not tall enough to push himself while riding, yet.

This is a great first bike and I purchased it for my grandson's first birthday. He is having a ball with it. I saw this pewi at an educational toy store, and was happy I waited to shop around. I saved like $20.

  • 20 month old twins are obsessed!

I bought this as an Xmas present for my niece and nephew. They are 20 month old twins and spend a LOT of time playing with this. I should've bought two because they actually fight over it. But, it's a great bike for them to start learning on and the wheels are rubberized. So, no scuffs on hardwood floors! They also have not problem riding this on rugs in the apt. It's a great gift and I like seeing them laugh and scream at the top of their little lungs playing on a gift I got them! I'm a pretty awesome uncle, am I right?

  • Have Ybike, will travel!

My 15 month old grandson took to it immediately! Riding all around the house and without any collateral damage, I'm happy to say. It's extremely easy for him to handle, very manueverable (which he is in the process of figuring out) and very grounded, not tipsy at all. Highly recommend.

  • adorable, well made and perfect for growing babies

it is a great gift for a small child, wonderful for standing and holding and to push along as the child walks or for the child to ride around, it is well balanced and easy for tiny hands to grasp onto, the surfaces are easy to clean with no sharp edges. I was surprised it was not in one piece when it arrived, however the box has everything you need, after reading the directions a few times and in about twenty minutes it was complete and well worth the effort.
